Terms of Service
Whitechalk is a product of Ironleaf Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, Karnataka, India. These terms describe how schools, institutes, teachers, and authorised users may use Whitechalk.

1 · Acceptance
By accessing or using Whitechalk (including our website and product), you agree to these Terms. If you are using Whitechalk on behalf of a school, coaching institute, or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If your institution has signed a separate written agreement with us for Whitechalk, that agreement will govern to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
2 · Use
You may use Whitechalk only for lawful academic and administrative purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to misuse Whitechalk. For example, you must not:
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the service (including by introducing malware).
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell Whitechalk, except as permitted by applicable law.
If you upload assessment content, student data, or other information, you represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to do so and to authorise us to process it to provide the service.
3 · Subscription & trial
Whitechalk may be offered under a free trial and paid plans. Trial and paid plans are governed by the usage limits, pricing, and support terms shown on the website or agreed with the institution.
Fees (if any) are payable as per the plan selected or the institution’s agreement with us, and may be subject to applicable taxes. We may suspend access for non-payment after providing reasonable notice, where appropriate.
4 · IP
Whitechalk (including its software, design, and underlying technology) is owned by Ironleaf Technologies Pvt. Ltd. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Your institution retains its rights to assessment content and other data you upload. You grant us a limited right to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and support Whitechalk, and to comply with applicable law.
If you share feedback or suggestions, you permit us to use them to improve Whitechalk without obligation to you.
5 · Liability
Whitechalk provides AI-assisted outputs. Institutions remain responsible for academic decisions, review policies, and communication with students or parents. You should review outputs before using them for high-stakes decisions.
Whitechalk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees paid by the institution to us for Whitechalk in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
6 · Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Whitechalk if we reasonably believe there has been misuse, a material breach of these Terms, or non-payment. We may also terminate or discontinue parts of the service, where legally permitted.
Upon termination, your right to use Whitechalk will stop. Data handling after termination (including export or deletion) may depend on the institution’s plan and any separate agreement with us.
7 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to Whitechalk.
